2 cups water
1 cup sugar, to taste
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 tsp grated lemon rind
In a medium saucepan, dissolve sugar (and honey) in water. Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes without stirring. Cool completely.
Mix in lemon juice and rind. Pour into (1 1/2 pint) ice cream machine and follow directions for ice cream.

LEMON ICE
xICE MILK
x"Here's one of the recipes from the book that I've had the best luck with: I've used this as the basis for experiments. My mom said this tastes like the old fashioned vanilla ice cream she used to get when *she* was a child."
1 egg (pasteurized)
2/3 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups milk (I use skim)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (the book left this out)
Mix egg and sugar. Add milk and vanilla. Chill in refrigerator until time to make ice cream.
Pour mixture in ice cream churn and turn the handle a couple of times every minute or two until ice mil is ready (about 20-25 minutes).
VARIATIONS:
LEMON ICE MILK:
Substitute lemon extract for the vanilla.
BANANA ICE MILK:
Puree one or two bananas and add to the ice cream mixture.
PEACH ICE MILK:
Puree one good-sized peach and add to the ice cream mixture. Don't put more than 3 cups of mixture in the ice cream churn, though, so you'll have a little left over for making ice milk another day!

Homemade Coconut Ice Cream
xHomemade ice cream without an ice cream maker? That's right! This recipe for homemade coconut ice cream is fantastically delicious, simple to make, and doesn't involve a lot of stirring once you've put it in the freezer. Creamy, smooth, and deliciously coconutty, you'll fall in love with this homemade ice cream with just one lick. Also healthier than most store-bought ice cream. Perfect for a summertime treat, or for a welcome dessert anytime of year. ENJOY!
Prep Time: 35 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Ingredients:
* SERVES 6 or more
* 4 eggs
* 1 cup white sugar
* 2 cups heavy whipping cream (500 ml. container)
* 2 cups thick (good-quality) coconut milk
* 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
* 2 tsp. coconut flavoring
Preparation:
1. Prepare a container with a lid in which to freeze the ice cream. Large yogurt containers work well (you'll need quite a few), or you can re-use a plastic ice cream tub.
2. Place the eggs and sugar in a food processor, mixer, or blender. Process about 1.5 to 2 minutes.
3. Pour this mixture into the top of a double-boiler and place over medium-high heat.
4. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy (it should look like custard). Place in the refrigerator to cool.
5. Measure out 2 cups coconut milk (approx. 1 can) and set aside. If there are any lumps, use a fork or whisk to break them up and create a smooth milk.
6. Pour 2 cups heavy cream into your food processor, blender, or mixer. Process until cream becomes very thick and stiff peaks form (approximately 1 minute). Scoop this whipped cream into a large mixing bowl.
7. Fold the coconut milk into the whipped cream, stirring to combine.
8. Now add the cooked egg/sugar mixture from the refrigerator. Also add the flavorings (vanilla and coconut), gently stirring everything together by hand. You should end up with a thick, ivory-white batter-like mixture.
9. Pour the ice cream mixture into your prepared container(s). Set in the freezer and allow to freeze at least 8 hours, or overnight. Note: You can leave the ice cream cake or plain ice cream uncovered until frozen. Be sure to cover it thereafter.
10. To serve, dip an ice cream scoop in water and scoop the ice cream into bowls. For extra coconutty flavor, top with a little toasted coconut. Also excellent served with fresh tropical fruit, such as papaya or mango, as pictured (see links below for tropical fruit instructions). ENJOY!

- 10 sdm gula putih
- 400 ml air
Bahan b):
- 1 buah serai (diiris-iris)
- 2 lembar daun pandan (diiris-iris)
- 3 butir cengkih
- 1 buah pekak (daun lawang?)
- 2 ruas jahe (diiris-iris)(boleh bubuk)
- 1/2 sdt merica bubuk
- 1 ruas kayu manis
Cara I
- Semua bahan b) dimasukkan kedalam air dan rebus sampai mendidih.
- Tunggu kira2 5 menit sambil diaduk.
- Angkat dan saring .
Cara II
- semua bahan b) dikeringkan lebih dulu lalu dihaluskan.
- MAsukkan ke dalam air, gula, dan bahan b) yang dihaluskan tadi dan
rebus sampai mendidih.
- Tunggu bebrapa menit sambil diaduk
- Angkat dan saring

Susu Kedelai

Bahan:
1/2 kg kacang kedelai direndam 4-6 jam sampai
mengembang dan empuk, tiriskan.
Cara membuat:
Taruh dalam wadah lantas disiram dengan air panas
mendidih dan rendam sebentar, kemudian buang sang air.
Proses ini untu menghilangkan bau langu.
Lumatkan kacang dengan menggunakan blender.
Kacang yang sedah menjadi pasta ini campur dengan air
panas sebanyak 2,5 liter. Biarkan sampai cukup dingin
sehingga dapat diperas.
Diperas dengan menggunakan kain yang bersih.
Proses terakhir susu hasil perasan dijerang di atas
api kecil, cukup sampai mengeluarkan asap tipis (tidak
sampai mendidih).
Tuangkan ke dalam wadah penyimpan dlm keadaan panas.
Dinginkan sampai cukup dingin, tutup. Simpan di lemari
es. Kalau pengen manis tinggal tambahkan gula atau
syrup.

Mutiara Strawberry Milk Shake

Bahan Mutiara:
150 gr tepung tapioka
pewarna hitam secukupnya
garam secukupnya 3 sdm air
Cara:
1. campur tepung tapioka dengan pewarna, air dan garam. Aduk rata.
2. Buat bulatan2 kecil sebesar ujung kelingking
3. Rebus air hingga mendidih dan masukan butiran tapioka ke dalamnya.
4. Masak hingga mengembang dan berwarna hitam bening. Tiriskan
Milk Shake:
10 bh strawberry
750 cc susu cair
200 gr gula pasir
200 cc air
2 kantung teh seduh siap pakai
pasta strawberry secukupnya
es batu secukupnya
Cara:
1. Milk shake: Rebus air dan gula pasir hingga gula larut, angkat.
2. Masukkan teh, seduh selama 2 menit, angkat.
3. Masukan buah strawberry, susu cair dan saus gula ke dalam blender. Blender hingga halus. Lalu saring, tambahkan pasta, aduk rata.
4. tata mutiara dalam gelas dan tuangkan milk shake. Sajikan dengan es batu.

Bahan :
2 buah markisa yang manis
150 gr mentega
125 gr gula
1 butir telur
200 gr tepung self raising
30 gr tepung terigu
Icing sugar + 1 buah markisa
Cara Memasak :
- Panaskan oven 180°C
- Oleskan 2 buah loyang dengan margarine
- Kocok mentega + gula sampai ringan
- Tambahkan telur dan buah markisa, aduk sampai rata.
- Masukkan kedua tepungnya, aduk rata.
- Ambil 1 sendok kecil adonan, taruh di loyang
- Panggang sampai kering, lebih kurang 25 menit
- Setelah dingin, dihias dengan icing dan markisa
